Formed from a single sheet of fine stainless steel wire mesh, this sculpted female torso explores the harmony between rigid materiality and graceful movement. Embroidered across the surface in varying shades of jade-coloured silk thread, the geometric Asanoha motif anchors the lower form before transitioning upward into sweeping, linear extensions.
These directional thread lines accentuate the still movement of the posture, guiding the eye across the contours of the body. As light filters through the semi-translucent mesh, the interaction of shadow, metallic sheen, and lustrous silk creates depth and texture—rendering the sculpture simultaneously structured and ethereal.
