Interwoven Horizons is an original contemporary abstract diptych from my Oceanic Geometry Collection, created in 2026.

This series explores the meeting point between architecture and the sea—where structured forms dissolve into atmosphere, reflections, and light. Rather than painting the ocean literally, I translate its rhythm into geometry, allowing verticals, horizontals, and layered textures to create a sense of calm movement and spatial balance.

While creating this diptych, I imagined contemporary coastal architecture reflected across still water. The composition evolved through multiple layers of acrylic paint applied with palette knives, brushes, scraping techniques, and expressive mark-making. Every layer remains visible, creating rich texture, depth, and subtle variations that change beautifully throughout the day as light moves across the surface.

A refined palette of ivory white, soft blue, warm beige, taupe, charcoal black, smoky gray, and deep brown creates a timeless contemporary aesthetic. Strong architectural lines are softened by atmospheric passages, suggesting reflections, distant horizons, modern waterfront structures, and the quiet rhythm of coastal landscapes.

Although entirely abstract, Interwoven Horizons evokes the feeling of standing between land and sea, where architecture becomes part of nature and reflections blur the boundary between reality and memory. Each canvas has its own visual identity, yet together they create a continuous conversation of balance, rhythm, and space.

The neutral palette makes this large-scale diptych particularly suited for luxury contemporary interiors, waterfront homes, boutique hotels, executive offices, modern apartments, and architectural spaces. It complements Scandinavian, minimalist, organic modern, coastal contemporary, and luxury interior design.

For me, the Oceanic Geometry Collection is about finding harmony between human structure and the natural rhythm of water. Interwoven Horizons represents that quiet intersection where geometry becomes fluid and stillness becomes movement.
