Intertwining (2026) Original Acrylic Painting by Kateryna Bortsova

This original painting is created using a unique acrylic technique on transparent plastic, incorporating gold paint—an approach that allows the piece to be perceived differently depending on the lighting and the background against which it is placed. The figures of two young women merge like rivers, symbolising both our planet and the concept of woman as mother. The effect of flowing movement is conveyed through brushstrokes and the vibration of the paint, lending the work an extraordinary sense of dynamism.
