On an abstract background, in an uncertain space - where gravity and perspective are unclear and undefined, the majestic horses of the merry-go-round have a place to live. They float imperiously - levitating impressively as if suspended in the time-space continuum by giant magnets of color.
This composition of impressive proportions combines both abstract and figurative styles into a unique blend. The artist experimented with flat color surfaces that allowed him to enhance the vibration of the figurative areas.
