Interference (2019) Photograph by Emanuele Forzani

70 x 50 x 0.1cm / 70 x 50cm (actual image size)

£171.1

"Interference" is a compelling abstract study in black and white that explores the boundary between order and chaos, geometry and fluid dynamics. What appears at first glance to be a digital glitch or a frequency wave is, in fact, the organic distortion of architectural lines reflected upon moving water.

By converting the scene to a high-contrast monochrome palette, the image transforms a fleeting natural moment into a hypnotic, rhythmic composition. The rigid vertical lines at the top gradually dissolve into undulating, textured ripples, offering a meditative meditation on perception, reflection, and impermanence.

Materials used:

Fine Art Giclée print, Hahnemühle Photo Rag 308 gsm paper, Pigment inks
