Inside the Storm (2026) Original Mixed-media Painting by Elena Jerger

This expressive abstract painting captures the feeling of a powerful natural force in motion. Deep blues and smoky grays flow through the composition like waves, mist, or a storm seen from within. Soft pink and bronze accents bring warmth and a subtle glow, creating a striking contrast against the darker layers.
Created with acrylic paint on canvas (70x100cm), the work combines a mixed-media technique with textured paste, adding a tactile 3D effect that invites the eye to explore every surface. The rich color palette shifts between calm and intensity, giving the painting a sense of depth and movement.
This abstraction can become a powerful focal point in a contemporary interior, while leaving space for each viewer to discover their own interpretation.
