Inocence 2 (2019) Original Oil Painting by Leandro Vázquez Martínez

"Innocence 2" from the series "Return to Childhood," evokes the purity, sensitivity, and sense of wonder characteristic of childhood. The work depicts a young girl immersed in a natural setting, captured in a moment of contemplation and discovery. Her serene posture and gaze fixed on the ground suggest a spontaneous connection with the world around her, transforming an everyday scene into a reflection on emotional memory, curiosity, and the authenticity of childhood. The vertical composition places the girl at the center of the piece, harmoniously integrating her with the lush surrounding vegetation. The contrast between the landscape's deep greens and her vibrant orange dress highlights her presence, symbolizing the vitality and energy of childhood.
