Inner Tide (2026) Original Acrylic Painting by Edelgard Schroer

Inner Tide

This original abstract painting by Edelgard Schroer is a richly textured artwork in turquoise tones, petrol blue, deep teal, black and gold accents. The composition feels calm and powerful at the same time, like an inner movement beneath the surface — quiet, deep and full of energy.

The layered acrylic surface is built with strong textures, raised lines, scraped areas and fine relief details. Soft blue-green passages create depth and atmosphere, while warm gold accents catch the light and bring a subtle spiritual glow into the painting. The dark areas give the composition strength and contrast without making it heavy.

Inner Tide has a horizontal format that works beautifully above a sofa, over a sideboard or on a wide wall. Its black shadow gap frame gives the artwork a clear, modern finish and enhances the depth of the turquoise and gold surface. The painting has a peaceful but expressive presence and suits contemporary interiors, modern living rooms, elegant offices and calm, meditative spaces.

The title Inner Tide refers to an inner current — a quiet force that moves beneath what is visible. It connects with the sense of flow, depth and light within the painting, while leaving space for personal interpretation.
