I have a great fondness for Imelda Staunton, she has played a myriad of different characters in film and television and I especially love her work on the radio, her voice needs no image. Saying that I think this painting of her from Harry Potter sums up the uptight Dolores Umbridge perfectly.
This is part of my collection celebrating female actresses I admire for bringing humour and strength to our screens.
She is painted using water based paint including emulsion and water based oil paint on canvas and initialled on the front and signed on the back.
