“Il paradiso” (2026) Original Oil Painting by Alena Panchishin

This original oil painting depicts a rugged coastline where towering rock formations descend into deep turquoise water. Cool blue-grey tones dominate the cliffs, contrasted by warm ochre details and patches of green vegetation growing between the stones. The textured brushwork emphasizes the natural structure of the rocks, while the luminous water creates a striking contrast with the darker landscape.

This contemporary coastal painting explores the beauty of raw, unspoiled nature. The solid cliffs and flowing sea represent two different forms of movement and time — one shaped by centuries of erosion, the other constantly changing with the light and waves. The composition captures the quiet power of the Mediterranean landscape and brings the atmosphere of a secluded coastal retreat into the interior.
