Icelandic Shore (2025) Original Oil Painting by Chris Marshall

This painting is inspired by a visit to Iceland some years ago. I was overwhelmed by the huge, wild landscapes, and by the distinctive northern light. This painting depicts a remote stretch of shoreline in south-east Iceland, with the black volcanic beach set against the crashing waves and the mountain range in the distance. It is painted in oils on a wide stretched canvas (80cm x 40cm)
