House in rice fields (2023) Original Watercolour by Inna Katsev

Painting from the series "Islands and Islanders". It depicts rice fields and a small oasis with a farmer's house. We drove past and I was fascinated by this picture of pastoralism and peace. I stopped the car and photographed the landscape, then drew from memory.
