The Hope & Anchor is an etching and aquatint from a series of prints inspired by English public houses. In this print we see a tiny island haven in a place far, far away, where the steadfast anchor of the soul, is given hope. The 'pub' has been made using all materials available, including a wooden galleon. It is left up to the viewer to indulge in this getaway print.

This print is an etching and aquatint made on a copper plate. It is printed on Somerset Velvet, a heavyweight 300 gram handmade paper from St Cuthbert's Mill in Somerset. The print is in a limited edition of 75 and signed by the artist. The image size is 30 x 20 cm on a paper size is 45 x 35 cm.
