An impressionist high mountain landscape inspired by the High Sierra of Sierra Nevada California. With a wide valley studded with pine trees and dramatic sheer rocky cliffs of surrounding hills. Painted in minimalist abstract palette of contrasting purple blue and yellow, with touches of green I have tried to capture the atmosphere of a summer day among these remote and wild mountain areas of the U.S.A.

Painted using quality artists acrylics on a small square format 8" x 8" (20 x 20cm) canvas, with a varnish finish and white wooden frame with cord ready to hang.
