Shakespeare's great words: "... our whole life is a game!" , I would say hide and seek. Often we strive for something blindly, consciously or unconsciously. The main thing is aspiration, movement and search.
I am a mother of two boys. The story of my eldest son served as the inspiration for creating this sculpture. My eldest son was 35 years old, but his path was very thorny for him and for me. Two years ago he found a job and got his way! In one of our conversations, he opened up and told me that from his youth until recently a veil had covered his eyes. He seemed to be playing hide and seek with life, and our conversation and his revelations about a young man made an indelible mark. With my sculpture I wanted to show that men of a certain age open their eyes and their eye bandages will fly away and he will see life with different eyes, with the eyes of a real man! It is made of self-hardening clay, metal weld base. Each of my sculptures is unique as there is no cast or copy. The sculpture is for sale, I am shipping my works worldwide!
