Titled : Haven - Contemporary Floral/Botanical Original Painting By Jennifer Taylor
Inspired by walks through the Northumberland U.K countryside near to where I live, paint and hike. Haven is an immersive mixed-media painting filled with thistles, colour and light. Purple-pink blooms emerge among softer, fading flower heads, creating a sense of movement and change within the landscape. Loose marks, layered textures and shifting shades of green, lavender and violet draw the viewer into a wild, abundant beautiful garden. A glowing moon sits peacefully in the sky. Flashes of metallic gold catch the light beautifully throughout the day. Subtle surface textures give areas of the flowers a wonderful tactile quality. Makes for a gorgeous magical, yet modern centre-piece for your space.
