Halstead in the Snow Giclée print by Eric Ravilious

Halstead Road in Snow (1935). Watercolour and pencil on paper. This has the kind of preternatural calm of snow newly fallen; just a few tracks lead you centrally into the picture. A rare and beautiful winter Ravilious scene.
