"Guiding Stars" invites the viewer into a quiet moment of reflection beneath an endless night sky. A lone fox stands on the horizon, gazing toward the stars as if following an ancient path known only to instinct and intuition. Hidden among countless points of light, the constellation of the Big Dipper becomes a subtle symbol of guidance, direction, and trust in one's own journey.

What makes this piece unique is its luminous surface. The stars were individually placed by hand using silver leaf, while thousands of smaller stars were added afterwards to create depth and the feeling of a living sky. As natural light changes throughout the day, the silver elements catch and reflect it differently, causing the stars to shimmer from various viewing angles.

The landscape below was built with a very heavy layer of texture paste, creating a richly sculptural surface that contrasts with the vast openness of the sky. This tactile foreground adds physical depth to the painting and makes the original artwork especially engaging when viewed in person.
