Original painting. The painting is defined by a striking contrast of colors: on the one hand, cool, clear turquoise and blue to blue-black tones; on the other, warm, earthy hues such as rust-orange, browns, and dark red. The two color groups seem to engage in an intense dialogue - meeting, interacting, and seemingly rising or falling as if within a grand narrative; this is what inspired the title. To complement these two groups, I mixed green, white and a few yellow tones on my palette.

The richly detailed center invites the viewer to discover the many contrasts, lending the painting a lively and positive character. The color transitions in the background are rendered more softly and across broader areas.

It was painted with professional acrylic paint on canvas. Stretched on a wooden frame.
The sides are painted too.
