Youth. Confidence is a geometric drawing about belonging without losing yourself.
The figure is calm, self-assured, and fully integrated — she listens, observes, and holds her place in the group without needing to claim it. The ornament surrounding her head represents her inner universe: distinct, complete, and her own. Set within the 8 and 13 arc spiral that mirrors the geometry of the dandelion, her composed presence speaks of a particular kind of youthful confidence — the kind that doesn't announce itself.
This drawing is part of the Youth series — four preparatory works created as individual studies before being woven into the oil painting Youth (100 × 100 cm, 2025). Each figure was first developed separately, finding the gesture and posture that defines her emotional role. The painting Youth and all four drawings are available on my Artfinder profile.
