Youth. Secret is a geometric drawing about intimacy — the particular vulnerability of choosing to share something private.
The figure's gesture suggests the act of revealing a secret, a moment of open trust that belongs distinctly to youth. Around her, a spiral of 8 and 13 arcs echoes the natural geometry of the dandelion: an ordered, almost cosmic field that holds the most personal of exchanges. The ornament circling her head is a metaphor for inner complexity — the symbolic universe each person carries within, unique and not fully visible to others.
This drawing is part of the Youth series — four preparatory works created as individual studies before being woven into the oil painting Youth (100 × 100 cm, 2025). Each figure was first developed separately, finding the gesture and posture that defines her emotional role. The painting Youth and all four drawings are available on my Artfinder profile.
