Original artwork description
I love cinema and I often look at old pictures of famous actors. I chose one of Grace Kelly’s picture because of her elegance and vintage look. She’s sitting on the beach beneath an oversized yellow beach umbrella, alone and she’s looking towards us. Like always, I chose vibrant colors with a deep ultramarine water, warm sandy tones and vibrant yellow. I used large brush to bring some « matière ». With her white sunglasses and patterned blue dress, it gives a vintage atmosphere and a retro style. It’s about summer, coastal landscape, serenity and freedom.
