Trapped by my own desires I have become prisoner and jailer within this gilded cage I call life. Born to this world a free soul, my wants and need became my chains, slowly placing golden bars around me, further my truth from my reality. The key is within, always waiting, ever calling me. My freedom awaits.
This painting took two weeks to compleate, with 6 sittings in total. Applying layers over layers building depth and tone which helps draw out the required emotions
Original painting using professional Oil paints on starched canvas 100x100cm
UV varnished to help protect against sunlight and everyday dirt and dust.
Sides have been painted so no framing is required unless wished. Ready to hang with a hanging wire attached.
