Garden X (2025) Original Mixed-media Painting by Marisa Añón

When I paint a garden, I’m not trying to reproduce it as I see it. I take liberties with the colours, exaggerate some shapes and let others almost disappear. I enjoy that freedom, somewhere between what I observe and what I imagine. Every garden becomes a different world on the canvas.
