Original artwork description
In "Galassie profonde", Antonino Puliafico explores cosmic imagery and chromatic movement in an original enamel painting on canvas. Measuring 160 × 200 cm and dated 2024, the work balances immediate visual impact with close-range surface detail.
The painting develops through dripping, allowing the physical texture of the paint to remain central to the image.
Antonino Puliafico’s "Deep Galaxies" is a mesmerizing journey into the vibrant and mysterious depths of the universe. This large-scale abstract painting brims with dynamic energy, as swirling patterns of enamel paint evoke the intricate beauty of galaxies in motion.
Its scale, colour and material energy give the painting a distinctive presence while preserving the spontaneity of Puliafico’s gestural language.
