From deep time (2023)Stone sculpture

Even as a child I collected stones. Among them were smaller boulders made of granite, which I was just able to carry. I still carry stones into the studio to make sculptures out of them. A small sculpture was also made from this boulder as a souvenir from the last ice age. The reddish granite that probably arrived 10,000 years ago is hard. He now has a circular opening in the center. The surface is partly ground, partly the traces of the hard metal chisel are left. The stone is mounted on a light green sandstone. The dimensions are without this base.
