Fine art original figurative oil painting on a 91cm x 61cm stretched cotton canvas created using a knife. Created in two layers to allow the sweeping knife strokes of the black background to influence the foreground subject knife strokes and add to it's contemporary appearance. The chiaroscuro technique, minimalist background and lighting adds to the atmosphere without distracting from the subject.
By default the artwork is framed in a simple black wooden open grain frame, though alternatives are available if required.
