Original artwork description
It starts with a single movement — and suddenly, the whole sky is alive. In “Flock at First Light”, a flock of birds sweeps across the sunrise above a quiet city, turning stillness into motion.
I focused on that fragile moment between night and morning, when the light is soft, the air feels open, and everything begins to shift. Warm sunrise tones meet cool urban blues, creating a gentle contrast that feels both calm and full of life.
The movement of the birds brings rhythm into the composition, while the city below remains still — almost holding its breath. This balance between motion and silence is what I wanted to capture.
