Original artwork description:

The image is a scene from one of my Asian travels years ago. A man on his boat carying a tree, likely building material for a floating house ( people of that area built their homes directly on water due to high annual fluctuations of the lake level.) He noticed me and waved his arms in greeting but it feels like there is so many more meanings in this scene ,right under its surface. Something about vastness, something about impermanent nature of things, something about a need to connect to others we all share. Very special moment and I just needed to paint it.
The painting is in oil on primed and textured mdf wood panel. I will have it framed upon your purchase and send it ready to hang (allow about 7 days for my framer to have everything set up and ready for dispatch)
