- five telegraph poles
Artwork description
A hillside in Shetland: the telegraph poles looked like the spread fingers of my left hand. I used the same hand to draw what was before me and then to make this print. No doubt my fingerprints are all over this picture but printmaking is a revealing medium, so I just let it come.
This is a relief print pulled from rubber plates, in an edition of 10. There is a one and a half inch margin on all sides of the image. The picture would fit straight into a standard 12 x 14 inch frame. All materials used are of high quality. Please use the contact button to ask a question or to leave a remark.
Materials used:
oil-based ink, blotting paper
Details:
- Print on Paper
- From a limited edition of 10
- Size: 35.56 x 30.48cm (unframed) / 27.94 x 22.86cm (actual image size)
- Signed and numbered on the front
- Style: Graphic
- Subject: Landscapes, sea and sky
