The first light of day arrives quietly, before the world fully takes shape. In this watercolor, I wanted to hold onto that suspended moment between sleep and waking—when the body is still heavy, but the light begins to touch and define it. The warmth across the skin becomes a gentle invitation back into the day.
Part of the series “Between Dreams,” this piece reflects on those fragile thresholds where rest, awareness, and possibility overlap.
