Original artwork description
Firestorm comes from watching fire move: moorland burning across the Yorkshire Dales this autumn, and a summer sky that seemed to explode in colour before it settled. I am built from one long diagonal push, red running into orange, orange into gold, until it breaks open at the edge. There is a corner of pale sky trying to get in, but for now the heat still has the upper hand.
