Firecracker, a bang, an explosion of colour, a sweet perfume.
Inspired by the artworks of Willem de Kooning and the bright abstract expressionists, Firecracker is an explosion of colour and summer vibes. Deep pink, orange and yellow is offset with bright white and ultramarine blue. The shapes are fluid and abstract whilst maintaining the suggestion of a floral bouquet. Smooth strokes of paint are complemented by areas of “scribbled” and raw strokes to replicate the organic beauty of the flowers. Firecracker is ready to hang
