Fingle bridge crosses over the Teign river in a steeply wooded valley in Devon. There are beautiful walks in this area up to Castle Drogo and onto Chagford. There is a delightful pub by this bridge making it a very popular place to visit. I was here in the early spring when there was hardly anyone else around, it was very still and all you could hear was birdsong and the river.
