Original artwork description:

"Expanding“ takes up the theme of resonance, based on the graphic representation of the propagation of sound waves.
The sound curve expands from the centre, repeats and spreads outwards.
The organic, almost corporeal form of the sculpture seems to absorb the vibrations coming from above, from the viewer, in a reciprocal visual and sensory exchange.
The central ring captures the gaze, a dialogue that vibrates, spreads
and is repeated in the surrounding space.

!Man perfects himself in communication with others“.

I made this sculpture in Krastal in Austria at the Krastal marble quarries during a marble sculpture symposium.
The vibrations that I perceived, absorbed and experienced in Krastal together with my fellow travellers will remain in me, layer and create new waves.


Technical aspect
It is a beautiful marble, white and frost-resistant.
The sculpture consists of two elements, an irregularly shaped, natural base and the carved part fixed to the base by two antioxidant steel bars.

Note that a truck with a mechanical arm is required at the place where the work is installed.
