Everything exists simultaneously (2026) Original Drawing by BAST

This contemporary surrealist painting invites the viewer to look beyond familiar reality — into a realm where the cosmos meets earthly landscapes, distant planets coexist with forests, and the infinite universe opens doors to unknown worlds. The composition resembles a large window divided into multiple fragments, each revealing a story of its own. Here, we encounter a giant turquoise-and-gold planet, distant galaxies, sparkling stars, mysterious mountains, snowy landscapes, and fantastical natural scenery.

The window becomes a portal between different dimensions. Some sections seem to offer a view of the familiar Earth, while others carry the viewer into the depths of space, where the usual laws of reality no longer apply. The mirrored elements forming the window frame enhance the sense of multidimensionality: the artwork feels less like an image and more like an actual opening into another reality. The reflections interact with the surrounding space, drawing the viewer into a visual interplay that blurs the boundary between the depicted world and reality.

Each fragment of the composition exists independently, yet together they form a unified fantastical universe. Here, reality does not disappear but reveals itself from an unexpected perspective: a forest may border a cosmic abyss, an earthly landscape may coexist with a distant planet, and a familiar horizon may become the beginning of an unknown journey. The painting is a meditation on the multiplicity of worlds, the boundlessness of imagination, and the possibility of glimpsing the impossible through an ordinary window.
