Evening sunshine bathes the ripening rows of English Lavender in a warm glow near Alton in Hampshire. Having researched the subject of lavender fields while being based in France, I discovered this place on the way to visit my parents, with the farm's permission I was able to document what had been their best harvest for ten years. This summer view of the rows of purple/blue bordering the A31 around Alton in Hampshire has been my favoured image from the series which Lavender Fields near Selborne have used for their own publicity too as well as some of my others.

Printed by Kernow Fine Art in Cornwall, each print comes with a certificate of authenticity, signed and numbered on the front together with the image title. Prints will be sent in a tube for safe and easy shipping via a tracked service from La Poste.
