Ethereal Luminance (2026) Original Mixed-media Painting by Javier Infantes
92 x 73 x 3cm (unframed)
£2,097.89
Original artwork description
This unique contemporary abstract painting immerses the viewer in an ethereal interplay of light, fluid color, and dimensional depth. Crafted through meticulous layers of high-grade epoxy resin infused with raw pigments on a solid wood board, the artwork features a brilliant, glass-like finish that acts as an optical lens, elevating the intensity of the colors beneath.
The composition flows seamlessly between vibrant fields of rich magenta pink, soft lavender, sky blue, and subtle hints of warm pale yellow. Underlying textures and pigment drifts—evocative of cosmic nebulae, atmospheric auroras, or liquid light—react dynamically to ambient illumination, revealing new details and tonalities as the light changes throughout the day.
The resin pours cleanly over the edges of the wood panel, providing a sleek, modern finish that allows the piece to be displayed effortlessly without a frame.
