Patterns and textures surround us, and in Emerald Isles, I have gathered them into a series of layered, horizontal stripes. Rich greens, soft grays, and touches of gold evoke the Irish landscape—rolling fields, winding roads, stone walls, and patches of light moving across the countryside. Hand-painted and collaged papers create shifts in texture and pattern from one band to the next, suggesting both natural and man-made elements. Together, the greens and golds create an abstract landscape that feels lush, weathered, and distinctly Irish.
