While I was working on my current large Schumacher project for my upcoming exhibition, I started to fall for luxury hotel architecture and interior design. So, I got to photograph several of them. One is the highly prestigious The Fontenay in Hamburg, Germany. Designed by architects Störmer Murphy and Partners, it offers great aspects to photography. My hope to share the beauty and make people happier is the main goal in my art. Sinking into an image and linger, almost falling into it. Taking the viewer out of the here and now and enjoying the beauty of what is shown in my art.
In my art, I am always looking for the essence. An image that can say a lot about the idea, maybe a detail. I am always looking out for this.
The tools I am using are my Leica camera and of course special lenses and my Epson printer as well as Hahnemuehle paper, which transports the fine art best.
