This work seems suspended between abandonment and reverie. A female silhouette stretches across a landscape that serves less as a backdrop than as something born from her. Her body, traced with a black, free, and almost fragile gesture, extends into the shadows of the earth until it becomes impossible to discern where the woman ends and the world begins.

Around her, grays, blacks, and whites compose a tormented texture, suddenly pierced by bursts of yellow. This light doesn't truly illuminate: it surfaces, like a happy memory, an old warmth, or the lingering fragment of a desire.

The woman turns her face away. Her hand resting against her head suggests reverie, perhaps weariness, perhaps that gentle melancholy that accompanies thoughts kept to oneself. Yet, her body remains open, offered to space, in a pose where vulnerability mingles with a strange serenity.

She seems neither to sleep nor to wait. She simply inhabits that uncertain moment when the body rests while the mind travels. And in the silence of colors, yellow remains like a promise: something, despite the shadow, continues to burn.
