The Eddystone Lighthouse is unmanned now but forty years ago would have been the remote home for several grizzled men. The precariousness of living in an offshore lighthouse gives me some conflicting sensations - so vulnerable to the elements, but the views would have been some small compensation in good weather.
One of an ongoing series of seascapes and sky images that have clouds as their main focus. Clouds are ethereal forms; in my prints they represent the world that lies beyond my own concerns.
285gsm print paper, screenprint ink.
