In Dryad, I imagined a feminine soul living within a tree—a presence that gives life, nurtures connection, and holds a quiet harmony. Her face emerges from bark-like forms, as though woman and nature have grown together, sharing the same breath.

For me, she embodies the feminine power of creation: the capacity to bring life into the world, to nurture it, and to connect the earthly with the spiritual. Her closed eyes suggest a journey inward, towards intuition and the wisdom held beneath the surface.

Bronze and golden tones trace the rugged contours of the surrounding forms. The tenderness of her expression rests within this rough exterior, like a soul held within an ancient tree.

Dryad is my reflection on woman as a source of life and connection—a meeting of body, spirit, and nature. In her stillness, I see the quiet energy from which something new can be born.
