Dry Heart — silverpoint on cotton paper, 38 × 28 cm. Dried leaves, each warped by time into its own shape, arranged into a heart.

Silverpoint is one of the oldest drawing techniques: silver stylus on prepared ground. This drawing took several days of close work.

Silver is a living material. Over years it oxidises slowly, shifting from cool grey toward warm brown — the drawing changes with its owner. The exact path it takes is unpredictable.

Drawn on 300 gsm Arches cotton paper, covered special acrylic ground. Signed, with certificate of authenticity.
