Dreamer

Here I am sitting in a coffee shop.
Smelling the aroma of coffee
hearing the buzzing voices.
In my head so many choices
I look and do not see
I am but cannot compute
My brain is overcast
And I feel a bit daft
Should I say ‘yes’ to te love of my life
A Titanic move, a sinking ship or
Should I walk away?
The latter I can do.
As long as my heart would not pursue.
It was a long walk
It was at times a lonely walk
But now, it was all worth it’s while
As life is good and I am content
All without pretend.
Varnished and sides painted. Ready to dispatch.
