This piece was painted entirely en plein air (on site) during the prestigious WTS Collective Plein Air Competition 2026 at the historic Painswick Rococo Garden. Executed on a large 90 x 60 [cm] linen under 4-hour , it was awarded the "Sense of Place" prize by the judging panel for its exceptional depiction of the garden's unique theatrical character, light, and atmosphere.
This award-winning painting was also featured in Group Exhibition as part of the Stroud Open Studios in June 2026.
