The diptych no. 5 features the photographs A lone cypress tree and Two lone cypresses from my collection "Tuscany: land of soul".

This photographs were taken in the Val d’Orcia region, a wide countryside in southern Tuscany, the region where I live.

Its green hills are characterized by a dense vegetation, dotted with vineyards, olive groves, cypresses, beech and chestnut groves, a backdrop of marvelous castles, medieval villages and rural houses.

Since 2004 the Val d'Orcia is in the UNESCO World Heritage List.

In A lone cypress tree and Two lone cypresses, the color tones are light and delicate, just as the soft and sinuous curves of the hills shape the entire scene.
The light is gentle, and the trees impart a sense of peace and tranquility to the viewer. A harmonious and meditative diptych.

In this diptych, the two photographs each have a format of 50x67 cm, with an additional 5 cm white border on each side to allow for easy mounting on a frame and subsequent framing.
