Shades of cadmium orange, red, and yellow, mixed with linseed oil, are delicately brushed on, creating a translucent effect that allows the subtle nuance of reflective qualities from the lead white to shine through. Along the edges, streaks of ultramarine blue, viridian green, burnt umber and cadmium orange add depth and dimension to the composition. The formulation of "Diosa" involves the sequence of layering tonal values, with ample drying time between each glaze application.
