I came to Beijing when I was a kid, I was deeply moved when seeing the vicissitudes of the old alley, looking at the pigeon wheel and hover in the clear blue sky with melodious whistle. And the memory was so clear in my mind, just like yesterday.

Now, it is hard to see scenes of childhood, no feelings of old Beijing in brand new city.

When cross the hutongs and record with my camera, there is indescribable sadness in my heart. So,I make several portraits of old Beijing, to keep memory of my beautiful childhood, forever.

NOTE :

The LINES was created by knife carving on oil material. This is my unique artistic style.

Simple style, black wooden frame is provided for free to protect the painting in transit. With frame 86 x 136 cm

This is the 6th piece I made, all the other 5 pics failed and not completed because the surface of oil dry out, not be able to carve. This one finally finished in 72 hours without sleep.
