Inspired by Anna Lowenhaupt Tsing and her "Mushroom at the End of the World: On the Possibility of Life in Capitalist Ruins". Thinking about life between humans and non-humans. Non-humans have always been a centre of my art practice, but this book gave me a place for humans. Now my art practice has a little pause caused by maternity leave, but this pause also gives me a possibility to stop and think deeply about the senses I grew up with. I see debris everywhere. I see they have always been there. I see them firmly woven into our lives (could I say like that?).
